Ashley is the founder of ABLE. With an engaging design approach and respect for technical craft, Ashley works alongside communities and clients bringing them into the design process to transform neglected sites into active, beloved public spaces. Ashley cares deeply about everyday spaces in rural and urban communities and their potential to reflect and uplift the people that inhabit them. Prior to ABLE, she worked on complex park projects including Domino Park in Brooklyn and India Basin Shoreline Park in San Francisco. Her built work has received awards from the American Society of Landscape Architects and American Institute of Architects. 

Ashley is a registered landscape architect in Oregon and Washington and has earned degrees in landscape architecture and architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a certified play safety inspector.
